I found this splitter to be a great value splitting 6+ cords of pine. Cost and time effective, easy to use and store. Four stars due to damage during shipment of first one had to wait for second shipment. Northern dealt well with problem however. When second arrived completed minor assembly, checked and tightened bolts as needed checked the oil and went to work. My twenty something son is more impressed as he was my backup logsplitter had this spliiter not been up to the task. Now his friend want to borrow it! When renting a splitter (gas) is $70 per day, it won't take long to pay for this.
