Great item!2010-04-255 / 5
I ordered this during a blizzard when all the stores in my area were sold out of shovels. It arrived quickly and works very well, the width of the shovel is excellent!

It's not that i don't like the shovel but it's not as useful as i thought. If you don't have absolutly good smooth pavement this is not the shovel for you. This would include a whole lot people. And it is exactly what it says (a pusher) dont try to pick anything up with it.

I was very surprised that the shovel is 100% plastic. It has no metal on the shovel's edge, so it will likely wear quickly on the concrete and asphalt. This shovel cost nearly $20.00 from Toby's Tool Shed. They also charged $69.00 for shipping. Yes, I'm stupid!! I actually didn't see the shipping charge before it was ordered. I ordered another shovel from a different vendor, and the shipping was only $9.60. Don't be fooled by Toby's Tool Shed. The product is cheap plastic and they charge too much.

The shovel wasn't exactly what I had hoped for. I have an old Timberland snow shovel/ pusher the I absolutely love and it is finally on it's last leg. However, I have had no luck in finding a replacement. I had hoped that this shovel would be it. It does a good job pushing, but as a shovel, it is not so great. The one I have has a little more curve to the bottom so it doesn't dig up the gravel driveway and the snow stays on the shovel much better, when you lift it up. For these reasons, I do not overly recommend this shovel.
Great Shovel. Good Size. Easier To Use2010-02-075 / 5
During February's blizzard of 2010, parts of WV received more than 30 inches of snow! We're SO glad we had this particular shovel! It's lighter weight than our metal snow shovel/pusher, and makes pushing snow easier. The blade is wide (27 inches) and allows easier and faster creation of a foot path in deep snow. The blade has grooves that help prevent the snow from forming a solid heavy mass on the blade when shoveling. Snow doesn't seem to stick to the blade as much as it does on our metal one. So it's good for use when snow is the heavy wet kind. The D-Grip handle made lifting easier on the back. I'm ordering a 2nd one to replace our smaller metal one.
