The CLI-8 from Canon is a pack of four high-capacity color ink cartridges that use long-lasting Chromalife ink for bright and vivid results. Compatible with Pixma models iP4200, iP5200, iP5200R, iP6600D, MP500, MP800, and MP950, each of these four ink cartridges yields up to 280 pages, based on five percent coverage. The ink is also resistant to fading and smudges, so everything you print is sharp and clear.

| I have a Canon Pixmas MP 960 printer and it uses this type of ink. When printed on photo paper the colors comes out bright, sharp and true to what the color is expose to be. It is great that it has a life span of 100 years |

| The ink, and the printer it goes into, works ok. The problem is that the ink gets used up too quickly, so the lifetime cost of using this ink with an associated printer is VERY high. Even printing black text soaks up some of the other colors of ink. Buy a printer that uses this ink only if you have deep pockets. |
