As is the case with just about every other item on the Internet getting reviewed by unknown users this gas can gets poor reviews. It seems the simplest of things mystify people.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the design of this Gas Can
The vent works just like it was designed to,and works properly.
The can has a maximum fill line. There is a reason for this.Use as its designed and there isn't a problem, all liquids expand/contract. Smaller fueling tasks should use a smaller can.You "Can" fill small engines without a funnel, using common sense.
You will need a funnel to fill your car fuel tank as is the case with about 99% of all gas cans.
We purchased five of these for use at various areas of Our home, and wouldn't use anything else these days.
People are truly losing their mechanical skills and knowledge of how to use things around the home. They really need to regain basic skills |

| Never seen such a poor design the nozzle will not fit in the car filler neck so you have to use a funnel which in turns defeats the automatic nozzle feature it will leak if you are not careful. |

| Self-venting my a**, they are non-venting. This means that they empty incredibly slowly. You end up holding about forty pounds up in the air for what seems to be an eternity, wondering what idiot designed it. I always keep the spout up on mine, not exactly safe for transport; but at least it doesn't leak gas all over the place. I would surely not want to carry this company's liability coverage. |
| Terrible design - prices stink | 2008-09-23 | 1 / 5 |

| Bought this exact can at a local store for less than 50% of what charges. Anyway horrible design. It spills gas everywhere when trying to fill the generator (which has a large mouth and open design). We had to get an extra tube from another can to avoid spillage. Anyway I would look for a real vented can which would prevent this mess. |

| The Blitz 5 Gallon Self-Venting Gas Can #50833 is a great way to cart fuel with you. The Self-Venting method is superior to other that I have used. |
