I repotted ALL my inside and outside plants (about 3 doz.) with a different brand of (organic) potting soil. After I watered them, Oh my GOODNESS...within 24 hrs. gnats were EVERY where!!!!!
The invasion of the GNATS!!! I have had planted forever in my home and NEVER experienced anything like this. So I got online and searched and searced until Mosquito Barrier rose to top of products to help.
I ordered the two bottles and I followed the instructions to the "letter" AND within 24 hrs. the GNATS were 95% gone (the stubborn ones didn't want to go.)
My home smelled like an "Italian" kitchen...because the product is 100% garlic.
My plants love the garlic. They are beautiful and healthy. I now use a lesser amount of the product for monthly feedings.
I LOVE it! My plants love it! The gnats hate it! I will buy Mosquito Barrier as long as they make it!!!!

| I was excited when I ordered this product because of the rave reviews that I read during my research. However, I was truly disappointed with the results. I sprayed this product in and around the area that I wanted free of mosquitos but they won hands down everytime. I then decided to spray the entire yard, in the trees, and wood line. It yielded the same lousy results. I have three bottles left. I am going to see about increasing the strength and see if that works. I won't buy this product in the future. I will stick to the basic backyard mosquito spray sold by my local lawn and garden supply store. |

| Mosquito Barrier is over-rated! It doesn't work as advertised. I'm VERY disappointed! We applied it twice as directed, but still have mosquitoes. At the cost of it, I expected a much better product. I would not buy it again. |

We live in Arkansas where the mosquitos can be quite ferocious. They don't bother me, but attack my wife like there's no tomorrow. We purchased this product with some reluntance, but wanted to try organic as we have a toddler that we did not want to potentially expose to pestisides.
Immediately after using, I noticed that the mosquito colony that was living under our deck had about disappeareded. My wife, who couldn't go outside to take the dog for a 'potty break' w/o getting bit 3 or 4 times immediately noticed a difference. They weren't completely gone, but it did seem to make a difference. The smell OUTSIDE was not nearly as powerful as I had anticipated, but I would highly recommend that when you are mixing your solution - to do so outside. I mixed my first batch in the kitchen sink and our kitchen smelled like garlic for a few days. It didn't bother me, but may be obnoxious to some.
So we were pleased customers. While a pesticide or fogging agent could be more effective, we feel better using this due to our child who plays a great deal in the back yard. |
