- Auto On Motion Sensor
- 120V AC Operation or 3AA Batteries
- Built-In Dusk To Dawn Sensor
- 2 Super Flux White LEDS
- 4 Position Switch: ON/OFF/OS Sensor/NightLight
Maxxima introduces the MLS-10 2 LED AC/DC occupancy sensor light which works on 3AA batteries or can be plugged into any standard outlet with its AC/DC option. The MLS-10 has 4 convenient modes which allow you to select if you want it to act as a light that automatically turns itself on when motion is detected by the built in sensor and turns itself off 30 seconds after you leave the area, or it can be set to turn on at night only, be left on at all times, or be shut off completely. When left in the occupancy sensor mode this light will only go on at night when motion is detected, and will only go off once there is no motion left in the area. When left in the night light mode this light will go on whenever there is darkness in its area.
This is a perfect item to be kept in a closet, bathroom, stairwell, or any space, which requires lighting, as well it comes in handy during a power failure. With its built in AC/DC option Maxxima now offers even more convenience with their line of Occupancy Sensor Lights.

This light has it all. It does NOT turn on unless it is dark. It has batteries for backup or NON Outlet placement (put it on a bookshelf). The light is great. I have several of these placed strategically around my house. IF the power goes out, I have light. If I am moving around in the dark, I do not have to turn on real lights and disturb any one else.
I have replaced almost all of my motion sensing, Edison bulb, non-working in a blackout, Home Depot purchased, night lights with these... |

Bought 3 of these units a year ago - don't waste your money on these units. The LED lamps do not last. The first unit's two lamps went out after 3 months, the 2nd unit has one lamp out, and the 3rd unit's lamps are going dim. We purchased these to save energy and get the benefit of the long life hours of the LED lamp technology. Forget the long life of the LED lamps, it's just hype at this point. The sensor part of the unit works well but that part is worthless without the lamps working.

I picked one of these up after nearly breaking my legs during a fall on a stairway because of the dark. The hostel I was staying in normally has lights but the rowdy guests broke every bulb in the place. I left this out & it worked for a while until some drunk Germans tore it out. Best thing to do is to carry a mini flashlight in instances like that.

We ordered three of these sensor lights to help light a stairway at nighttime. When we received our package, one of the lights did not work at all. Within a month, the second one also quit working. When we called to ask if they would replace them, we were informed that sure they'd replace them, but we would have to pay all shipping fees. They sold us duds but we were still responsible for shipping??? Within 3 months of receipt, the third light quit working as well.

I bought this sensor light because of the ac/dc. I am very happy with this light. It gives just enough light to see where you are going. It is great for those people who get up in the middle of the night and you don't want to turn on a regular light. My husband would flip the regular light on from the bathroom which always woke me up. I am not a happy camper if you wake me from sleeping. Now I don't wake up from this light. I have tried several other types of sensor lights and they didn't have enough light and they turned off and didn't come back on as easily. I did try the night lights and that bothered me because it stayed on all the time. My only complaint is that it does cover both electrical plugs.
